TRANSMISSION
Allison Two-Speed Powershift (forward and reverse). Modulated inching in all speed ranges. Combination torque converter and straight constant mesh gears. Pressure-lubricated, self-adjusting, multiple-disc clutches. Air-cooled Transmission Cooler. Dash-mounted switch for transmission inching connect or disconnect.
DIFFERENTIAL & DRIVE-AXLE
Rigger Lift double-reduction axle. This arrangement permits the axle shafts and hypoid gearing to carry only a nominal
torsional load while providing the highest practical gear reduction at the wheels. The axle design is rugged, capable of bearing constant and severe loads without fatigue or failure. Dayton-type wheels installed.
BRAKES
The S-Cam air service brakes utilize a single pedal to combine transmission disconnect with brake actuation. Maxi-type air actuated parking brake system.
STEER-AXLE
This Rigger Lift heavy-duty axle features one double-acting cylinder. Anti-friction thrust and radial bearings reduce wear at oscillating points. Budd-type hubs with tapered roller bearings. Aluminized-bronze King Pin provides extended life of operation.
FILTERS
Air cleaner with replaceable paper cartridge. Spin-on, full-flow inline transmission and engine oil filters.
OPERATOR'S COMPARTMENT
Semi-bucket seat with seat-belt. Grilled overhead guard provides protection, good visibility and a safe operating environment as loads are raised and lowered. Meets ANSI and OSHA specifications. |
INSTRUMENTATION
Non-glare instrument panel contains warning lights (alternator charge, engine oil pressure, transmission temperature, low propane and low air pressure) and gauges (engine temperature,
hourmeter and transmission oil pressure). All gauges are weather-proof and circuit breaker protected. Fuel primer on LP Gas.
SAFETY FEATURES
Skid-resistant floor plates, strobe light, backup-alarm, working lights, overhead guard and
seatbelt.
STANDARD MAST
Telescoping mast with direct-lift cylinder, fabricated from T-1 steel channels. High-capacity greasable alloy steel rollers.
High-capacity greasable roller-bearing steel rollers.
HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
Hydraulically operated lift and tilt control with standard 3rd valve. Control valve has fully balanced plungers and a pressure relief valve. Positive displacement gear type pump. Two double-acting tilt cylinders and three-stage heavy-duty lift cylinder. Steel hydraulic tubes provide durability and help dissipate heat. Hydraulic in-line filter and dual tank strainers.
CARRIAGE
Shaft-type carriage with manual fork locating bar operates on four large diameter load rollers and four side- thrust
rollers, complete with greasable roller-bearings.
FORKS
Shaft-mounted, 4"x10"x96" 2-step tapered forks. Other types and attachments available .
PAINT
Base unit in Safety-Yellow. Non-reflective black mast, carriage and counterweights.
